Biography

Marvin C. Draper - is the founder of Abounding Praise Worship Center.  The Lord began to take Pastor Draper to another level of Praise and Worship.  He was given a vision for the ministry to teach people in more copious ways of Praise and Worship.  His ministry has been ordained and anointed by God to minster to the total man (Spirit, Soul, and Body). His mission is to promote  men and women in leadership development, and to motivate them to reach their maximum potential in Christ.

Pastor Draper is committed to bringing people to God and into reality.  He is a dynamic teacher, preacher, and counselor who has a heart for God's Word.  He flows in the prophetic move of God through deliverance as well as operating in the gifts of the Spirit.

Pastor Draper was given title: "A  Man Before His Time" because when Pastor Draper was young in the ministry God would give him revelations that leaders at the time did not understand. They thought he was trying to bring division in the church, but it was later found out after years has passed he was bringing unity to the church.

Pastor Marvin C. Draper received his ordination license September 1980.  He also received an ordination license from Hunter Ministry in Houston, TX in 2006, his Certification for Counseling I and II and Theology I and II at Christian Technology School.  He received his Bachelors in Theology in 1986 from the School of Religion.  Pastor Draper continues his education for more knowledge of the bible.  Pastor Draper is now a full time pastor,  who retired from United Parcel Service September 15, 2000 with 32 years of service. 

He has been married 40 years to his lovely wife Charlene.  They have three wonderful sons (Marvin Jr, Marshall & Myron), two daughter in-laws and nine grandchildren.

Co-Pastor

Prophetess Charlene Draper - is the Co-founder and Co-Pastor of Abounding Praise Worship Center in Columbus, Ohio where her husband, Marvin C. Draper serves as Senior Pastor.  She also serves as President of "Women With Standards" Talk Ministry, which was birthed in March 1996.

Her mission is to promote women in leadership development, and to motivate them to reach their maximum potential in Christ. 

Abounding Praise Worship Center has a mission to serve their community, and has developed "Mission in Action" to service the community with the love of God by offering food, clothing and transportation and to run errands to those in need.

Co-Pastor Draper is a passionate preacher, counselor and a mighty intercessor that has the heart of God.  She has served in ministry for over 19 years, flowing prophetically and a deliverance with mighty signs and wonders that follow.  Her passion is to see God's people delivered and saved operating in their gifts and talents and bringing them into a much higher place of worship and praise.
